Duinwaterbedrijf Zuid-Holland provides drinking water to more than one million people in the western part of Zuid-Holland. The delivery of reliable drinking water is their main task, but not the only one. Duinwaterbedrijf Zuid-Holland also maintains the dunes between Monster and Katwijk. The dunes are an important factor in keeping the eco system intact and they serve as a recreational spot for the local population.
To carry out the daily maintenance tasks Duinwaterbedrijf Zuid-Holland needed a new mobile solution to replace their existing Field Service Solution. Their main goal is to realize productivity improvements by dispatching the field engineers in an efficient and effective way for both preventive and corrective maintenance processes. After a thorough market scan and a successful pilot Duinwaterbedrijf Zuid-Holland chose Tensing.
A long time customer of Tensing, Duinwaterbedrijf Zuid-Holland had implemented Tensing Mobile GIS several years ago to view their GIS data in the field. Impressed with the functionality, Duinwaterbedrijf Zuid-Holland has now added Tensing Mobile Workflow (mobile workforce management) and Tensing Track & Trace functionality. With these products Duinwaterbedrijf Zuid-Holland will completely automate their field processes. Not only will they be able to send work orders out digitally through a wireless data connection, but also receive data back on activities in the field. This data lifecycle improves knowledge of both office and field staff, and efficiency and productivity.
