Tensing is on the move with new and exciting GIS solutions based on ESRI technology, Tensing Command & Control room GIS and Tensing KLIC Online.
Tensing Command & Control Room GIS
Tensing has been working for years with emergency service organizations such as police, fire fighting, and private security and has specialized in delivering complete Command & Control Room GIS systems for emergency response. With its wide spread usage, abundant data sources and available applications, ESRI ArcGIS is the ideal platform for the next generation of Tensing Command & Control Room GIS software. A test version will be available within the coming months after which the official release of Tensing Command & Control Room GIS will take place in 2009. With this new software emergency service organizations will be able to integrate and analyze data and information more quickly and accurately. They will also be able to provide spatial data to stake holders outside of the organization such as the local community and other government organizations.
Tensing KLIC Online
Tensing will offer a new software solution for KLIC (Cables and Pipes Information System) which can be used on several GIS platforms. KLIC Online is a web based application that will give users access to GIS data from all utilities nationwide in Holland. The new Dutch information exchange law requires that utilities implement call before you dig solutions to prevent damage to underground pipes, cables, and other utility assets. Tensing KLIC Online effectively centralizes all GIS data from all utilities and provides a single source for GIS data. Tensing KLIC Online will allow construction companies, work crews, contractors and more to access the correct GIS data from the correct utility before they dig at a location. This GIS data is vital in preventing damage to assets that would be expensive to repair and cause down time for consumers. Tensing KLIC Online will be available in Beta in September 2008.
Another Success Story in the Utility industry
Tensing is currently converting the geographical asset management systems of Delta in Zeeland and Brabant Water in Den Bosch (the Netherlands) to ArcFM-UT from ESRI. Tensing’s specialized knowledge in geo solutions will ensure a flexible implementation for both customers. As an ESRI implementation partner, Tensing’s installation experience with ESRI technology has made it a leader within the utility industry.
