Tensing has just released the 6.0 version of the Tensing Mobility Platform (TMP) - the new name of their complete suite of mobile applications. Many new features have been added to this new release.

The highlights of TMP 6.0 are:

• Integration with Scheduler functionality. Working orders can be planned automatically from Tensing Dispatch reconciling with SLA's, employee skills etc.
• Integration with ALK CoPilot route navigation. From the Tensing application the user is able to directly access route navigation to automatically navigate to the destination within Western Europe and the United States. This integration can be used on a PDA as well as on a laptop.
• View of realtime GPS positions in the Tensing Dispatch application. With this feature it is possible to visualize GPS positions from the board computer in the Dispatch screen.
• New User Interface of the Tensing Mobile Workflow application.
