Tensing as of today, was formed in 1999 by the merger of Spatial Knowledge Systems (founded in 1985) and Tensing GeoInformatica (founded in 1990). Since then the company has grown autonomous (Tensing USA and Tensing UK) as well as through acquisitions (Adogis and CRM Vision).

The acquisitions have been picked carefully to provide either related products/services to the same market or existins products/services to a new market. The several capabilities are now melted together and have given Tensing a solid and strong position to fulfill its worldwide ambitions.
