The following file formats are supported in the 3D GeoViewer:
IFC (Industry Foundation Classes)
A maximum size of 100 MB applies to each file format.
The requirements also differ per file format:
The file must be provided with a geo location through a coordinate system. The "Site" must also have the "RefElevation" attribute with a value. This value is used to inform the BIM model.
The unit of length must be millimeter, centimeter or meter (and not inch).
The file must be provided with a geo location through a coordinate system. This geo location applies only to the XY positioning.
The 3D model must be adjusted by height. This can be done in SketchUp Pro by adding a terrain and then placing the model on the terrain
To make textures on the building look good, we recommend that you make it "unique." You can do this in SketchUp by right-clicking on "Make Unique Texture."
It is not possible to specify a coordinate system for FBX files. For this reason, it is important that the 3D model is described by means of RD coordinates (Dutch Rijks Driehoek measurement X, Y in meters). The length unit used must therefore be meter.
The height at which the 3D model is placed must conform to NAP.
