My name is Dominique Goes and I have been working as an Business Development Manager at Tensing since October 2017.
My working life started in 1995 with Panalpina freight forwarders. I soon discovered that the term “customer" interests me enormously; it is therefore not surprising that I ended up fairly quickly in a role as account manager. I have been in this role in a variety of industries, including document management/printing and telecom/ICT. Understanding how “my client” works, what is important for the organization as well as for my contacts, and which business objectives must be achieved — I see these as the foundation for delivering my advice and recommendations.
Digital transformation and innovations were the reason for me to start at Tensing. In recent years I came into contact more and more often with innovations such as the Internet of Things, especially while with my previous employer (KPN). Tensing is distinguished by the knowledge of converting data that arises into comprehensible information that changes work processes.
In addition to my work, I enjoy doing fun things with my family. Together with my wife Inge and our children Jesse and Yara, we spend a lot of time on and next to hockey and soccer fields. I play as a keeper at my club Roda’23 in Amstelveen. My son has also chosen to fill in this position in the game of soccer. I also get a lot of energy from my role as a trainer. I see developing talented players as a rewarding task. Here, too, it applies: how are you (mentally and physically) structured, which goals do you want to achieve and what are you willing to invest in this?
Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.
