I am Jeroen Bloemscheer (1977) and at the time of writing I have been working for a week at Tensing GIS Consultancy B.V. but it feels familiar to me because from 2007 to 2013 I worked at Tensing on mobile solutions. The reason for this is simple, with Tensing you get the time to innovate and you can work on nice assignments in practice at the customer.
With more than 20 years of experience in estimating, realizing and maintaining GEO-IT solutions, I have developed into a software developer who likes to get involved in complex problems and preferably uses standard solutions.
I studied for IT engineer at Fontys Hogeschool in Eindhoven. As a student I worked part-time at CMG and later I also worked as a Geo-ICT developer at CGI, which LogicaCMG had just taken over. Graduated and started at Deepground Image solutions where I worked with Oracle spatial and look for the municipality of Amsterdam and my preference for GIS has sprouted. At GIS you always have an aesthetic aspect that really appeals to me as a variation on abstract programming work. At ProRail I have worked both on RINF with usage values at the macro level and on Naiade on the validation service for the model that will be used for integrated collection within the rail sector. At the Royal HasKoning DHV engineering firm I was able to bring the knowledge for this back to the supplier side.
As a specialist in software development and integration with ESRI and FME, I will assist our customers within Tensing!
In my spare time I am also busy as a role play character in a story that the storyteller orchestrates. Together with the client, I would like to unlock the information that is hidden in the data and in such a way that the client can orchestrate his own story.
