Pim Christiaans

I am Pim Christiaans, born in 1994 and a Tensing employee since October 2017.

Career

After studying geodesy/geo-informatics for four years at the Hogeschool Utrecht, I graduated in 2015. Subsequently I started working at Arcadis, where I had the opportunity to use FME for all kinds of applications, among other things. I soon discovered that FME is the tool where I can put my knowledge, skills and flexibility into action. After two years at Arcadis, I had the opportunity to work at Tensing and further develop myself there.

Liquicity

Being surrounded by people who share the same passion — that is Liquicity. Liquicity is a Dutch liquid drum and bass record label and event organization. Liquicity festivals are fantastic to experience. The atmosphere is great because everyone goes there for the same reason: to enjoy the music from the many great artists. Also, because it is a relatively small festival, there is a lot of interaction with the DJs themselves, so a meet-and-greet is never far away! That's how I got the signature of Fox Stevenson (great artist) on my sweater.

Tensing

At Tensing, just like at Liquicity, you are surrounded by unique people who share the same passion. Where drum and bass are the passions at Liquicity, Tensing is interested in geo-information, IT and all kinds of new technologies. Being challenged every day and continually improving yourself on a team of talented specialists is what makes working at Tensing really cool. The enthusiasm of the team, working together to find a solution for the client and various other activities make it a really complete experience for me.
