Evides

Evides is responsible for supplying clean water to 2.5 million customers in the provinces of South Holland, Zeeland and a small part of North Brabant.

The challenge

Before the start of the project, Evides is working for the Zeeland supply area with the Esri Geometric Network in combination with ArcFM extensions, specifically designed for utilities. The desire is to switch to the Esri Utility Network.

Evides wants to phase out ArcMap, extract more value from legacy data, realise a good link with between the GIS and the asset management system and work with one central data source. All this can be realised with the implementation of the Utility Network.

The solution

In distribution area Zeeland, a Minimum Viable Product is being rolled out with part of the data. In addition, a lot of process improvements are being realised: a more efficient entry process, more possibilities in the field of asset tracing and also the monitoring of data quality has become easier.
