Eva Overgaag

Hello, my name is Eva, and I've been working at Tensing as a Young Professional since September 1st (2020). I have since developed myself into the role of Delivery Lead.

Study
I have a bachelor's degree in Human Geography and a master's degree in Urban Geography, but I was particularly interested in GIS. That is why, as part of my bachelor's degree, I completed a minor in GIS. During my internship at the municipality of Amsterdam for my thesis project in the final months of my master's program, I learnt even more about GIS.

Food & friends
I grew up with two brothers in Rotterdam, but now live in Amsterdam with two friends. Many of my friends live in Amsterdam, which makes it convenient to catch up with them after work or on weekends. Cooking is one of my interests, and I enjoy cooking for my friends while enjoying a good glass of wine.

Why Tensing?
The drive and energy of Tensing is what attracted me the most. Everyone is driven by a desire to be the greatest at what they do. But perhaps even more important is how I felt walking into the office for the first time; I felt free to be myself without fear of being judged. I believe that is critical to create a positive and comfortable working environment.
