Koen Boschman

My name is Koen Boschman. Since the beginning of December 2020, I started as a Young Professional at Tensing.

Career
I started with the bachelor Social Geography & Planning at Utrecht University, where I liked the GIS courses by far the most. This made me decide to do the master Geographical Information Management and Applications (GIMA) afterwards. In addition to my work at Tensing, I am also working on my thesis.

Spare time
I live in Utrecht and I like it very much. In my spare time I like to run and when I have some more time I like to go into nature to run... or just to walk. I also volunteer at an open-air theater and enjoy doing something cultural every now and then. Finally, I like to cook new recipes, if it also tastes good I'm really happy haha!

Why Tensing?
What appeals to me at Tensing is that continuing to learn and develop yourself plays an important role. It is always fun and challenging to learn new things! At Tensing, you get the opportunity to work on multiple challenging assignments, so there is a lot of variety in your work.

I have only just started at Tensing but my first impression is very positive! Despite the limitations (and challenges) of our time, I feel very involved in everything. This great start bodes well for when we can come together responsibly again. I am looking forward to it!
