Lisa van Meeuwen

Hi! I’m Lisa, I started working as Finance Controller at Tensing in March 2023.

Career
Before joining Tensing, I made several career moves; I started as a software consultant/ support employee, did some software development, became an assistant accountant and eventually became a tax advisor. I studied tax law at Erasmus University in Rotterdam and started a company with my good friend Robert. After quitting our company, I decided that accountancy was no longer my “scene” but I really didn’t want to give up bookkeeping so that’s when (and why) I became a financial controller.

Spare time
I live in downtown Dordrecht, in a beautiful apartment built in the ‘30’s. You can find me in my ‘cabin in the woods’ in Oosterhout when I'm not in Dordrecht. In my spare time, I like to do ballet and yoga and I just love renovating and building stuff.

Why Tensing?
Tensing ticks all the boxes of my previous experiences and I thought working here would be the perfect combination of all the fun jobs I’ve had over the years. Employees consider Tensing a Great Place To Work and as far as I can see it really is.
