Career
I started working with GIS during my bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences (VU Amsterdam). I then completed an MSc degree in Earth & Environment at Wageningen University & Research. My field of study was Soil Geography & Earth Surface Dynamics, where I also included parts from the master's in Geo-Information Science in my programme. During this period, I also worked as a student assistant in a GIS subject, among others.
Spare time
Together with my boyfriend, I live in Ede. In my spare time, I love touring through nature on my racing bike. I also like to sing (along with) singer-songwriter music and go to concerts with friends. In addition, I have recently started discovering how to make creative things with a sewing machine.
Why Tensing?
I particularly noticed that there is a lot of expertise in-house at Tensing and that colleagues enjoy helping each other. I like to keep developing, so I'm happy to participate! In addition, there's just a really nice atmosphere in the office.
You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need!
