Marnix Otten

My name is Marnix Otten and I have been working at Tensing in the role of Marketing Specialist since 2019.

Career
After studying Communications in Rotterdam, I started as a marketer at Info Pinnacle (later Moviebites), an online video production and publication company. Here I have gained experience with both print and digital media.

After that I worked as an online marketing manager at an international organization active in fall protection and facade maintenance.

After this I worked for 5 years as a marketing manager at a small organization active in CRM and Marketing Automation Software. In this role I have discovered how great it is to reach target groups and help them in their orientation for a product or service.

Hobbies
On the one hand, I dare to call myself a true Burgundian. From a good BBQ to whiskey tastings; I am happy to be there! On the other hand, I have been running quite fanatically for a number of years now. Having completed the Rotterdam Marathon twice and the Eindhoven Marathon once, I know how cool it is to get the most out of yourself. In addition to eating, drinking and running, I now follow painting lessons, a wonderful way to relax. Last but not least, I love to spend my time with my family.

Why Tensing
Initially you rely on a job description and a first impression of the company. Once 'on board' Tensing has exceeded my expectations, in a positive way. What immediately impressed me was the high level of professionalism and the drive of every employee. And all of that in a very pleasant, informal atmosphere. Tensing stands for getting things done, quality, customer focus and innovation - which I think is the best environment for a marketer you could wish for!
